In 1979, 17 year-old Keith Oliver felt motivated to share his love for Jesus in a unique and creative way. He created the original “Discover Jesus” face design and was immediately inspired. He went on to create dozens of designs and knew he wanted to share them on a larger scale than just sketches in his notebook. He copyrighted the “Discover Jesus” face and created his first batch of shirts. He sold them at a local Christian book store and as the demand for more products increased, so did his printing of different designs.

Keith founded “Discover Inc.” in 1982 and began printing shirts out of a warehouse near Tamiami Airport in Miami, FL. With the help of his Dad and brothers, they screen printed several designs and began selling to bookstores across the Southeast. Uncle Mike (yes, the one with the long hair) was the muscle behind the screen printing while Keith and his twin brother Kenny kept the designs flowing. They also ran an ad in a Christian magazine that lead to sales not only in the US but worldwide including England, Ireland, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, and South Africa. They frequented trade shows, christian concert festivals, and even spotted a customer in the background of a Billy Graham TV special.
As life went on and their families began to form, t-shirt printing took a back seat. However, family and friends never stopped wearing these shirts and asking for more to be made. After very little convincing, Keith’s oldest daughter Jenna got her hands on all of Keith’s original designs and more importantly, his blessing to recreate some of these iconic threads. With the help of her husband Brian, they decided to bring back some favorite shirts and to share them on an even larger scale than Keith was able to in the 80’s... The internet!
